Engineering Director Job Summary Lester Electrical, located in Lincoln, NE, is searching for a new leader to continue our growth and success into the future. Lester was founded in 1963 and has become a leading developer and manufacturer of battery charging equipment, specialty electronics, and related components for a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications. We are financially sound and growth oriented. Reporting to the President, the Engineering Director is responsible for leading approximately 30 people in the development and design of a variety of battery chargers, power conversion products and advanced battery systems. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred), with a minimum of 10 years  experience and 8 years as an effective leader; A strong electronic/electrical product development background; Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a product development and design group with strong product development and project management skills; A working knowledge of ISO compliance and a strong commitment to continuous improvement; Demonstrated effective leadership, team-building, communication and interpersonal skills; Experience with concurrent engineering and design for manufacturability; A broad knowledge of engineering technologies and disciplines; Demonstrated short and long term strategic planning skills; A strong track record of developing people and organizations; If you meet the above requirements, and have exceptional leadership skills, don't pass up this great opportunity.
